Brokk introduced the new Brokk 900 demolition robot. It established and improved the success of its predecessor, taking a big step in power and performance. Brokk 900’s power has been increased by 25% and has reached the new industry benchmark in reliability that Brokk has introduced through its SmartPower™ technology. It has two models, the standard Brokk 900 is equipped with the most powerful breaker on the demolition robot, and the Brokk 900 Rotoboom is equipped with a high-precision rotating arm system.

Brokk is now launching a new generation of Brokk 900. Using the success and experience of its predecessor, Brokk has developed a new type of robot to meet the extreme requirements of the toughest underground hard rock operations.

Brokk 900 is a great improvement over its predecessor in many aspects. The design and engineering of the machine have been strengthened, the power has been increased, the operation has been more precise, the new circuit breaker has been more powerful, and the size and weight have hardly increased.

Brokk 900 uses Brokk SmartPower™ technology to improve the power system, and the output power is increased by 25%. At the same time, reliability and machine uptime have reached the new industry benchmark set for demolition robots when Brokk SmartPower™ was launched a few years ago.

Brokk 900 is available in two different models: the standard Brokk 900 with the heaviest and most powerful breaker, and the Brokk 900 Rotoboom with a high-precision rotating arm system.

The standard Brokk 900 is equipped with two different hydraulic breaker options, both of which are more powerful than the breaker on the predecessor Brokk 800.

Of course, as with all Brokk robots, it is easy to change between crushers to ensure that you always have the best accessories for the job.

The Brokk 900 Rotoboom is designed for maximum flexibility in applications where access and accuracy are more important than power. It has a 360-degree continuous arm rotation, smooth movement to achieve maximum accuracy, it has a thermal protection function, can be used for hot and refractory work in metal factories, and is equipped with Brokk's patented thermally shielded hydraulic breaker.

Both Brokk 900 models can choose electric or diesel powertrains. Electric motors are the best choice for the lowest running cost and the most environmentally friendly. However, the new diesel engines are not far behind, meeting the most stringent emission standards today. It complies with the US standard EPA Tier 4 Final and the EU Stage V standard.

Finally, the maintainability of Brokk 900 has also been improved to a higher level. Although the machine is large and weighs more than 11 tons, it is designed to be maintained by one person. No need to lift weights.

"All in all, the new Brokk 900 represents what we are familiar with. More power in a compact and smart package. Even for our largest demolition robot." Brokk CEO Martin Krupicka said.

Delivery of the new Brokk 900 will begin at the end of the second quarter of 2021.
